Job summary

Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking an Imagery Scientist with expertise in imagery evaluations, IQEs, and image quality studies. You will handle image chain analysis, atmospheric modeling, detector calibration, and radiometrically correct pixel data processing.

Responsibilities include weekly reporting, contributing to team structure, providing metrics, and mentoring junior staff. Strong familiarity with GEOINT tools, Jira, Miro, GitLab CI/CD, IaC, and containerization is required.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance (eligible for CI Poly).
• Bachelor's degree in Imaging Science, Physics, Engineering, Mathematics or related STEM field.
• 4-7 years of experience in imagery science or related field.
• Ability to develop and use complex concepts and processes in imaging paths.

Responsibilities

• Reports to a manager or head of a unit/department on a weekly basis.
• Contributes to team structure, cadence, and discussions.
• Provides metrics, reports, and presentations as requested by government lead and PM.
• Improves efficiency with team processes and guides junior personnel.
• Performs root cause analysis and develops technical solutions.
