Job summary

(EDO) Entertainment Data Oracle, Inc. is seeking an Imagery Scientist with expertise in imagery evaluations, IQEs, and image quality studies.

Responsibilities include reporting, process improvement, and mentoring junior staff while leveraging signals processing and atmospheric modeling. The candidate will work with sensor analysis, calibration, and image chain analysis to ensure radiometrically correct outputs across platforms, using DevSecOps tooling and modern cloud/containing pipelines.

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance (eligible for CI Poly).
  • Bachelor's degree in Imaging Science, Physics, Engineering, Mathematics or related STEM field.
  • 4-7 years of experience.
  • Ability to develop and use complex concepts and processes.
  • Experience with modeling components of the image creation path (sensor, detector, atmospheric, material properties).
  • Simulation and modeling experience.
  • Understanding systems engineering lifecycle including independent testing and data verification.
  • Ability to develop algorithm description documentation for software development.
  • Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.
  • Works independently and collaboratively.

Job description

Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking a n I magery Scientist with knowledge of im agery evaluations, image quality studies, new product/sensor initializations, product algorithm assessments, and the development of image quality equations (IQEs) . Candidates should possess experience in f ull image processing and digital signal processing. Candidate should possess a high level of knowledge of i mage chain analysis to include atmospheric modeling, signal quality and noise, optics, detector calibration, and image processing of pixel data to display radiometrically correct values .

Responsibilities:
  • Reports to a manager or head of a unit/department ona weekly basis.
  • Understanding of imagery scientist processes and procedures for the team.
  • Contribution to team structure and cadence.
  • Providing metrics, reports, and presentations as requested by the government lead and PM

Key Technologies:
  • Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Familiarity with current GEOINT systems, products and development, as well as exploitation software packages such as all ELTs, AGITK, and other software plug-ins or applications necessary to develop test and verification methodologies.
  • Knowledge of PAN, IR, MSI/HSI, RADAR, and LIDAR on both space or airborne platforms.
  • Jira, Miro, Collaboration tools
  • DevSecOps & Automation
  • Understanding of GitLab CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation) and Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
  • Agile, DevSecOps, & Development Lifecycle Tools
  • SonarQube, Nexus, etc. for code and dependency scanning
Required Qualifications:

  • Experience with navigating organizational security processes.
  • Experience developing and delivering contract deliverables
