Job summary

Google LLC in Mountain View, CA is seeking a hardware-focused specialist to advance imaging sensor development for our platforms and devices. You will contribute to sensor testing, validation, and integration to deliver high-performance image sensors for consumer products.

Your work will involve deriving engineering requirements, testing at multiple levels, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring world-class sensors to market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2 years in imaging sensors or CMOS imaging systems.
• 2 years of experience with imaging sensors, image processing, camera tuning.
• 2 years of experience working in CMOS imaging/electro-optical systems.

Responsibilities

• Derive ERS and image sensor handbook for Mobile, Home and AR/VR applications.
• Test, validate and evaluate image sensors at board, camera module and device level.
• Derive sensor key matrix, test methodology and algorithm to validate image sensors for various applications.
• Set-up new test environments and equipment to ensure robust, reliable results.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of image sensors into products.
