Job summary

Google LLC is seeking a Director of Camera Display Algorithms & Systems to lead a team delivering market-leading imaging and display processing across Google SoC products. You will partner with cross-functional research, software, and hardware teams to invent algorithms, define system-level architectures, and optimize performance, power, and area while delivering high-quality IP.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in CS or EE or equivalent practical experience.
• 15 years of experience in multimedia algorithm and systems space.
• Experience in ISP, image processing, computational photography, computer vision and machine learning.
• PhD in CS or EE.
• 20 years of experience in multimedia algorithm and systems space.
• Experience developing algorithms and architecture for smartphone SoC development and productization cycles.
• Proven track record in managing high performance teams and delivering algorithms for silicon.
• Deep technical expertise in ISP, image processing, computational photography, computer vision, machine learning and generative AI.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team responsible for developing market-leading algorithms and systems in camera imaging, ML, CV and display processing.
• Invent and develop complex algorithms, specify system-level architectures for products.
• Collaborate with Google research teams to bring state of the art algorithms into silicon and guide trade-offs.
• Work with camera, video and display software teams to co-design leading user experiences and ensure high quality IP development.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering and Software teams to ensure seamless silicon implementation and end-to-end productization.
