Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Katy, TX is seeking a knowledgeable and skilled Veterinary Technician to join their Internal Medicine department. You will liaise between our internists and clients regarding histories, care instructions, lab results, and patient updates while supporting ultrasound and endoscopy procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong anesthesia and phlebotomy skills required.
• Experience with endoscopic and ultrasound procedures.
• Proficient in taking x rays and obtaining lab samples.
• Ability to communicate with clients by phone, email, and in person.

Responsibilities

• Set up CRIs and perform medical calculations as needed.
• Induce, monitor and recover anesthesia.
• Set up for ultrasound and radiology procedures.
• Assist with endoscopic procedures (GI, nasal, urinary, airway) and maintain equipment.
