Job summary

Museum of Illusions is seeking an Illusion Expert to welcome guests, guide interactions with exhibits, and maintain a welcoming environment across the museum floor. You will play a key role in delivering memorable experiences for visitors of all ages.

The role emphasizes outstanding customer service, knowledge of exhibits, and collaboration with teams during events and daily operations. A high energy, friendly attitude and reliability are essential for success at our Sacramento location.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of customer-facing experience highly desired.
• Experience in arts, entertainment, attractions, performance or hospitality is a strong plus.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for guest engagement and an outgoing attitude.
• Proactive, reliable, and trustworthy.

Responsibilities

• Present a positive, professional demeanor as an ambassador for the Museum.
• Ensure guest satisfaction with superior customer service throughout the visit.
• Know museum exhibits to guide and engage guests.
• Assist guests in capturing memories and participate in events and tours as requested by management.
• Maintain cleanliness and brand standards across the museum, including retail and play areas.
• Greet and direct guests, sell tickets, answer questions, and manage merchandise refunds.
