Job Description: Patient Care Tech/CNA

The Patient Care Tech/CNA performs routine duties within the limits of training and certification in caring for patients. Responsibilities include transporting patients, preparing patients for MRI procedures, and assisting in transferring non-ICU patients to hospital diagnostic areas. They may also be assigned clerical or receptionist duties, such as answering phones and directing calls. Additional duties related to the work may be assigned.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED; completion of an approved nursing assistant course or successful completion of the PCT course by the healthcare facility.
• Experience: Clinical experience in a certified nursing assistant program preferred.
• Licenses/Certificates: Current AHA or Red Cross BLS certification required upon hire; State of Illinois certification required.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly Range: $15.00 - $22.50
• Incentives: Eligible for evening/night and weekend shift incentives based on company policies and applicable job codes. Details provided during the interview.
