Job description

The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) is responsible for performing laboratory tests and procedures under the supervision of laboratory supervisors or managers. This role involves operating diagnostic equipment, analyzing test results, and ensuring that lab processes are conducted accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications

1. Education: Associates degree from an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician program or an equivalent combination of education and experience, including at least 60 semester hours from an accredited university with biology and chemistry courses, plus three years of full-time clinical laboratory experience or successful completion of an equivalent training program.
2. Experience: One to two years’ experience preferred.
3. Licenses/Certificates: Registration as a Medical Lab Technician, MLT (ASCP), MLT (AMT), HEW, or CLS (NCA) or equivalent required. Registry must be obtained within 12 months of completing school/training or equivalent education, per CLIA standards.

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly Range: $23.88 - $35.82

Incentives: Eligible for evening/night, weekend shift incentives based on company policies and applicable job codes. Additional details will be provided during the interview process.
