Job summary

Associa is seeking a Community Manager I to supervise a portfolio of community associations. You will travel to client sites for board meetings, inspections and events, prepare agendas and reports, and manage annual disclosures and financial statements for homeowners.

The role requires CAM licensure in Illinois, strong MS Office skills, HOA knowledge, and excellent communication. You will liaise with boards and residents while ensuring timely filings and adherance to policies.

Qualifications

• Must hold a CAM license for Illinois.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Knowledge of communities, property, real estate and HOAs.
• Understanding of HOA board roles and how they interface with homeowners.
• Strong written and verbal communication; professional correspondence.
• Confidentiality, discretion and proactive team player.
• Time management and prioritization; ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work in person with others and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision of a portfolio of community associations.
• Travel to client associations for board meetings, inspections, and events.
• Prepare agendas, update management reports, and compile Board meeting packets.
• Prepare annual disclosure packages and annual financial statements for homeowners.
• Update homeowner/association information in C3 and shared files.
• Coordinate and oversee building facility inspections and follow-up actions.
• Oversee association operation in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Act as liaison with the Association Board and homeowners as needed.
• Oversee AP process and procurement per home office procedures.
