Job summary

Talent With Heart in Denver, Colorado, is seeking a SCADA Engineer to support OT systems across gas, solar and wind assets. You will collaborate with site managers and engineering teams to ensure reliable control, data flow and asset performance.

The role focuses on Ignition SCADA design and maintenance, data visualization, and integration work. A strong background in Inductive Automation Ignition, AVEA PI, and OT protocols is required, with scripting (Python) and NERC CIP compliance experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3–6 years of experience.
• Expert level in Ignition and AVEA PI.
• Experience with Renewable and Gas power systems.
• Familiar with OT equipment like SCADA systems, RTUs, PI historians, OPC, Modbus.
• Ignition certification preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Scripting experience; Python preferred.
• Knowledge of power plant components and renewable projects.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Ignition SCADA System, including gateways, new screens, alarms, historian and integration.
• Develop data flows and displays in Ignition Perspective for analytics and visualization of Operational Data.
• Coordinate with IT and ensure assets are compliant with NERC CIP and IT security requirements.
