What You’ll Actually Do
- Engage in three distinct rotations across different US geographic locations, taking on a site role at each location to gain exposure to varied jobs and assignments.
- Participate in a tailored curriculum designed to support the development and application of technical, professional, and leadership skills.
- Undertake diverse project assignments with the goal of delivering visible and significant business impact.
- Focus on leadership development, including connecting effectively, helping others achieve their potential, magnifying impact through others, and strengthening Flowserve as a great place to work.
- Apply problem-solving skills to real-world challenges impacting local and global operations, or connect engineering training to business strategy and enterprise solutions.
The Must-Haves
- Background: Undergraduate degree in Chemical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Materials Science, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering by May 2027. Early-Career.
- Experience: Zero to two years of relevant work experience, including internships or co-op experience. Demonstrated leadership experience and a desire to build a career as a people leader.
- Skills: Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills. Strong organization and work/project planning skills. Understanding of data collection and analytics, with the ability to report findings.
- Bonus: Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, and PowerPoint. Basic coding experience with Python, Java, C/C++, SQL, or similar languages. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement processes. Experience with project management tools or methods such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall. Experience leading teams to achieve project goals and objectives. Understanding of basic business principles.
