Job summary

Flowserve MBA Future Leader Program (FLP) seeks MBA graduates to participate in a 2‑year rotating experience, accelerating leadership development across global business functions. Participants gain hands‑on experience in Business Strategy, Operations, and Portfolio/Product Management while building a foundation for general management roles.

The program targets MBA graduates with STEM backgrounds, offering cross‑functional exposure, executive mentorship, and mobility between Houston and Dallas

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Rotate through two 12‑month assignments across Strategic Planning, Product Portfolio and Lifecycle Management, and Operations/SC strategy.
• Engage in enterprise‑level strategic projects and receive executive mentorship.
• Develop leadership, integrity, and enterprise‑wide thinking through structured development programs.
• Support the transition into general management roles with cross‑functional exposure.

Program Overview

Flowserve’s MBA Future Leader Program (FLP) is a 2-year rotational experience designed to accelerate the development of high-potential MBA graduates into impactful leadership roles across our global organization. Participants will gain hands‑on experience in Business Strategy, Operations, and Portfolio/Product Management , while building a foundation for future roles in general management and enterprise leadership.

This program is ideal for individuals who are passionate about driving transformation in industrial technology, and who thrive in dynamic, cross‑functional environments.

Program Structure

• Immersion Phase (3 months): Begin with comprehensive onboarding, customer engagement, and site visits to gain a deep understanding of Flowserve’s business, culture, and global footprint.
• Rotational Assignments (2 x 12 months): Participants will complete two tailored rotations in areas such as:
• Strategic Planning & Business Transformation
• Product Portfolio & Lifecycle Management
• Operational Excellence & Supply Chain Strategy
• Leadership Development: Engage in enterprise‑wide strategic projects, receive executive mentorship, and participate in leadership development programming designed to prepare you for future roles in general management.
• Location: Initial placements in Houston or Dallas are preferred. Future mobility is encouraged to support career growth and global exposure.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Education: MBA degree completed by Spring 2027 , with a STEM undergraduate background (Engineering, Science, or related fields)
• Experience: 3–6 years of prior experience in industrial, operations/supply chain, product management, or commercial roles
• Skills & Attributes:
• Demonstrated leadership potential and strategic thinking
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
• Comfortable with ambiguity and fast‑paced environments
• Willingness to travel and relocate for rotational assignments

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Lean , Six Sigma , or other continuous improvement methodologies
• Experience working in cross‑functional or global teams
• Passion for innovation and operational excellence
