Job summary

Amgen seeks a Director of US HCP Marketing for IgG4-RD to lead the US commercial strategy for UPLIZNA in IgG4-RD, shaping the treatment paradigm and delivering an integrated launch plan across rheumatology, gastroenterology, nephrology, and neurology.

You will lead cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Medical, Market Access, Analytics and Insights, Regulatory, and Global Marketing, building a high-performing team and translating insights into actionable plans while navigating evolving

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master’s degree with marketing/commercial experience requirements.
• MBA preferred. Demonstrated success leading pharma/biotech launches.
• Significant US HCP marketing experience with integrated commercial strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead the integrated US HCP marketing strategy for UPLIZNA in IgG4-RD, translating launch priorities into clear objectives, indication-specific strategies, and execution plans.
• Hold accountability for commercial performance, identifying growth opportunities, emerging risks, competitive dynamics, and actions required to deliver against business objectives.
• Shape annual brand planning, long-range planning, quarterly priorities, investment decisions, and performance management for the IgG4-RD indication.
• Lead market-shaping initiatives that build disease awareness and accelerate identification, diagnosis, referral, and treatment uptake across multiple specialties.
• Guide HCP and institutional segmentation, targeting, positioning, messaging, customer journeys, field engagement, and promotional strategy.
