Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Regional Sales Director for UPLIZNA IgG4-RD in the West Region. You will lead the regional sales organization, translate brand priorities into execution, and drive results through a high-performing team.

You will build a strategy, develop District Managers, and partner with Marketing, Medical, and HR to ensure compliant, patient-centered growth. This role demands elite leadership and marketplace insight in a complex rare-disease setting.

Qualifications

• Doctorate/Master/Bachelor degree with 4/8/10 years of account management and/or commercial experience.
• In addition, at least 4 years of direct people management or leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the West region UPLIZNA IgG4-RD sales team to deliver strategic priorities.
• Set regional strategy, priorities, and expectations with district managers.
• Coach and develop district managers using a diagnose, practice and follow-up approach.
• Foster an inclusive, compliant culture aligned with Amgen values.
• Attract, onboard, retain and develop future leaders with succession plans.
• Synthesize data and market insights to adjust regional plans.
• Maintain deep knowledge of IgG4-RD and the UPLIZNA profile.
• Build strong relationships with customers and attend key congresses.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Market Access, Medical, HR and other partners.
• Allocate regional resources and budget to maximize patient impact and performance.
• Ensure activities comply with laws and Amgen policies.
