Planet Group is seeking an IFS Systems Administrator to manage day-to-day administration, security, monitoring, and support of the IFS Cloud environment. You will handle user provisioning, roles, permissions, and environment administration while collaborating with business and technical teams.
The ideal candidate has hands‑on IFS administration experience, strong knowledge of application security and access management, and the ability to troubleshoot system issues.
The IFS Systems Administrator is responsible for the day‑to‑day administration, configuration, security, monitoring, and support of the IFS Cloud environment. This role manages user access, roles and permissions, system monitoring, background jobs, deployments, and environment administration while supporting both business and technical teams.
The ideal candidate has hands‑on IFS administration experience, a strong understanding of application security and access management, and the ability to troubleshoot system and configuration issues. This position may also support IFS implementations, upgrades, go-live activities, and post-production stabilization.
Administer IFS Cloud environments and provide ongoing application administration and support.
Manage user provisioning, including new user setup, access changes, deactivations, and periodic access reviews.
Configure and maintain roles, profiles, permission sets, and security mappings based on business requirements and least-privilege principles.
Maintain core IFS administrative configurations and system settings.
Perform Solution Manager responsibilities, including system monitoring, background jobs, scheduled processes, deployments, and environment management.
Monitor system health and proactively identify administrative, security, or application issues.
Support application deployments, releases, patches, upgrades, and other system changes.
Coordinate activities across development, test, and production environments.
Troubleshoot IFS administrative, access, security, configuration, and environment-related issues.
Partner with functional teams, technical teams, infrastructure resources, and external implementation partners to resolve issues.
Develop and maintain documentation for user provisioning, security standards, system administration procedures, and operational runbooks.
Support implementation and go-live activities, including access provisioning, environment readiness, deployment coordination, cutover activities, and post-go-live stabilization.
Assist with security audits, access reviews, change control, and other governance requirements.
Hands-on experience as an IFS Systems Administrator, IFS Application Administrator, or similar role.
Experience administering IFS Cloud or other recent versions of IFS Applications.
Strong knowledge of IFS roles, profiles, permissions, and application security.
Experience with user provisioning and access management.
Hands-on experience with IFS Solution Manager, including monitoring, jobs, deployments, and environment administration.
Strong understanding of core IFS administrative setup and configuration.
Ability to troubleshoot application, security, configuration, and environment-related issues.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both functional business users and technical teams.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience supporting IFS Cloud implementations, upgrades, or migrations.
Experience with go-live preparation, cutover, hypercare, and production stabilization.
Familiarity with identity and access management (IAM), single sign-on (SSO), and authentication concepts.
Experience with access auditing, security governance, and change-control processes.
Experience working across multiple IFS environments, including development, test, and production.
