Job summary

FastTek Global in Irvine, CA is seeking an MTS Tester to assist in development, testing, release, and integration of software and hardware activities. The role focuses on hardware/software integration, system testing, and documentation for In-flight Entertainment (IFE) systems.

You will work on test plans, troubleshoot issues, and support engineering across the company while maintaining test rack configurations and validating system requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 0–3 years experience in software/system engineering development and/or software/hardware testing.
• IFE and/or industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development, testing, release, and integration of software and hardware activities.
• Perform hardware and software integration of systems and LRUs.
• Execute integration tests for LRU and system functionality; document results.
• Maintain test rack configurations and perform software/system testing of IFE functionality.
• Participate in design and development of IFE system functionality and regression tests.
• Support engineering efforts across the company and develop test plans to validate requirements.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and conduct root-cause analysis.
