Job summary

Irvine, California hosts the MTS Tester position at FastTek Global. The role focuses on integrating hardware and software, performing LRU and system tests, and maintaining test racks for IFE systems.

The candidate will develop test plans, troubleshoot issues, and document results while collaborating with Development Engineering and Software teams. Strong written and verbal English skills and a background in Unix/Linux are important.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 0-3 years experience in software/system engineering development and/or software/hardware testing.
• IFE and/or industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hardware and software integration of new and existing systems and LRUs designed by Development Engineering and Software Development groups.
• Integration test of LRU and system functionality.
• Document and submit all testing results.
• Maintain test rack configurations for system installations and test all IFE functionality.
• Design and develop IFE system functionality and perform regression testing of software releases.
• Troubleshoot and analyze root cause of system anomalies in hardware and software.
