Job summary

FastTek Global in Irvine, CA seeks an MTS Tester 2 to assist in developing, testing, release, and integration of software and hardware for avionics/IFE systems. The role emphasizes integration of LRUs and system functionality, plus thorough test documentation and support for engineering teams.

Requirements include a BS in a related field and 0-3 years of testing/engineering experience; avionics experience is preferred. On-site work with a focus on test racks and procedures.

Qualifications

• BS in CS/CE/EE or related field or equivalent experience.
• 0-3 years in software/system engineering development and/or software/hardware testing.
• IFE/Avionics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Integrate hardware and software; test LRUs and systems.
• Document all testing and submit results.
• Maintain test rack configurations for installations and testing.
• Participate in software release testing and regression testing.
• Assist engineering efforts and troubleshoot root causes.
