Job summary

The position is 10 months, full‑time, non‑exempt, and based in VAHS - North Hills, CA. Candidates should have 48 college units and CPR/First Aid training; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 48 college units and CPR/First Aid training provided
• Ability to lead, direct, and instruct students of all ages
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills
• Flexibility and critical-thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Support students with disabilities across settings
• Provide instructional support for IEPs in push-in/pull-out settings
• Maintain communication with ISTs, teachers, and staff
• Document service minutes and sessions into Welligent by Friday
• Track progress toward IEP goals and assist in behavior support
• Assist in maintaining a safe, welcoming learning environment
• Attend required trainings and team meetings
• Provide supervision during transitions and non-instructional times
