Job summary

Bright Star Schools is seeking a Paraprofessional to support teachers with students who have IEPs in general education. You will provide instructional and behavioral support, document service minutes in Welligent, and collaborate with Inclusion Specialist and Special Day Class teachers to implement accommodations.

Minimum of 48 college units, CPR/First Aid, and strong English communication are required. This role is full-time, 10-month, non-exempt, based in Los Angeles, with comprehensive

Qualifications

• Must have 48 college units.
• CPR & First Aid certification (training provided).
• CBEST not required at hiring but required to apply to CTC.
• Substitute Credential with CTC preferred; pursued in first year.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers with push-in and pull-out services for students with IEPs.
• Document service minutes and session details in Welligent by Friday 5pm.
• Assist in maintaining safe, welcoming learning environment and behavior supports.
• Attend required trainings and team meetings.
