Job summary

Cheney Public School District 360 is seeking IEP Support, Instructional Paraeducator to assist in multiple school buildings. Positions include duties from classroom support to supervision and behavioral interventions.

Starting Aug 18, 2026 with a 7-hour day, Monday–Friday during the 2026-27 school year. Compensation ranges from $18.94 to $23.88 per hour, with potential add-on for hygiene duties and degree-based stipends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; documentation required prior to beginning employment
• Passing score on state-approved Paraeducator Assessment
• AA degree or higher OR 72 quarter or 48 semester credits with college-level courses
• WSP/FBI criminal history background clearance

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of teacher-designed instructional activities and classroom routines
• Conduct teacher/therapist-designed instructional experiences
• Work with individual and small groups of students
• Supervise and model expected behaviors across settings (classrooms, lunchroom, playground, hallways, buses)
• Implement behavior support plans and PBIS
• Administer medications as trained and delegated
