Job summary

Catapult Learning, a division of FullBloom, is seeking a Part-Time Student Support Coordinator in New York City. You will guide IEP processes, partner with schools and families, and provide classroom support to ensure students with special needs receive appropriate services.

The role emphasizes collaboration with principals and staff, involving data-driven planning, and delivering targeted interventions while aligning with state guidelines. In-person position based in Manhattan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Master’s degree in Education or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of Curriculum programs.
• At least three years of experience as a Special Education teacher or similar position.
• Experience in the evaluation process.
• Leadership and teacher coaching experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to establish priorities and work independently.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, OneDrive and Zoom.

Responsibilities

• Navigate the IEP process from initial referral to service implementation in schools.
• Partner with schools in your region to support decisions and improve outcomes.
• Provide quick, efficient support for students in the classroom.
• Collaborate with families to drive student success.
• Collaborate with regional personnel to support students.
• Assist in using data, assessments and analysis to identify students needing interventions.
• Provide leadership and support to teachers for instruction.
• Conduct model lessons and provide next-step support for teachers.
• Attend meetings and trainings to gather information for performance.
