Job summary

Optimal Care Services in New York, NY seeks an IEP Coordinator to serve as a key liaison among families, schools, and therapists, ensuring mandated services are provided under IEPs and regulatory guidelines. You will track timelines, coordinate staffing by school and location, maintain accurate records in Excel, and respond to inquiries with warmth and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate IEP-related placement and staffing assignments to ensure students' mandated services are fulfilled
• Track and monitor IEP timelines, mandated service hours, and compliance deadlines
• Manage and track staffing needs by school/location and preferred geographic area
• Maintain accurate staffing, placement, and IEP records
• Serve as a liaison between families, schools, therapists, and internal departments
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to inquiries from families, schools, and staff
• Utilize Excel to maintain spreadsheets, track assignments, organize data, and generate reports
• Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, organized, and compliant with special education recordkeeping requirements
