Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. is seeking an IEP Specialist to support students with academic, emotional, social, and behavioral needs across our nationwide special and alternative education settings.

You will work closely with the Director and the resource team to coordinate and evaluate educational programs, mentor classroom staff, and help recruit and onboard new campus staff, while ensuring ISBE compliance and high-quality IEP services.

Qualifications

• Active SPED teaching license (state).
• Experience collaborating with school teams and families.
• Familiarity with IEP processes and compliance indicators.
• Proven data collection and progress-monitoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and evaluate educational programs with directors and staff.
• Attend IEP meetings and ensure documentation is complete.
• Recruit, interview, and onboard new staff with the team.
• Develop transition planning and Indicator 13 services.
• Maintain IEP and student files; monitor ISBE compliance.
• Deliver staff and parent training on special education programs.
• Liaise with school districts, parents, and community partners.
