Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. is seeking an IEP Coordinator in Georgia to work with the Director and resource team to coordinate and evaluate the educational program. You will mentor classroom staff, oversee onboarding, and collaborate with school teams and families to drive outcomes.

The role involves recruiting support staff, coordinating IEP meetings, maintaining databases, and ensuring ISBE compliance. A SPED teaching license is required for this position, with experience preferred.

Qualifications

Current SPED Teaching license.
Experience coaching staff in an educational setting preferred.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
Ability to collect, analyze data and maintain records using Excel and Google Drive.

Responsibilities

Coordinate, manage, assess needs and determine student assignment within special education programs.
Assist Principal with recruiting, interviewing and onboarding campus staff.
Develop and implement transition planning and services/Indicator 13.
Maintain IEP database and student file scan database.
Prepare and attend IEP meetings and ensure documentation meets ISBE requirements.
Plan and deliver staff and parent education related to special education programs.
