Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. is seeking an IEP Specialist to help students shine by delivering academic, social, and emotional support and by coordinating with teachers and families.

You will work with the Director and the resource team to align educational programs, mentor classroom staff, oversee onboarding of new staff, ensure ISBE-compliant IEP processes, and coordinate with school districts and families.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required.
• Experience with similar population in school setting preferred.
• Experience coaching staff and strong communication skills.
• Ability to record and analyze data using Excel and Google Drive.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, manage, assess needs and determine student assignments for special education programs.
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding campus staff.
• Develop and implement transition planning and services (Indicator 13).
• Maintain IEP databases and student file scans.
