Job summary

Summit Academy Management seeks an Intervention Specialist to provide specially designed instruction to students on their caseload, aligned with IEPs and Ohio standards.

You will collaborate with teachers and service providers to set measurable goals, determine accommodations, and monitor progress. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills and engagement in a professional school setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education.
• Valid Ohio teaching certificate or license.
• Appropriate criminal background clearance from BCI and FBI.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Ohio Learning Standards and ODE Model Curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Provide specially designed instruction to students per IEPs.
• Collaborate with teachers and service providers to set measurable IEP goals.
• Determine accommodations and interventions for IEPs.
• Complete IEP progress reports for caseload students.
• Attend IEP and IAT meetings as requested.
• Maintain a professional school environment and adhere to PBIS system.
