Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in line with IDEA and state regulations.
• Provide direct instruction using evidence-based strategies.
• Adapt curriculum and materials to meet individual student needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusion.
• Collect and maintain data on student progress and performance.
• Participate in IEP/eligibility meetings and problem-solving teams.
• Communicate with families regarding progress and concerns.
• Implement behavior plans and provide social-emotional supports as needed.
• Consult with related service providers (speech, OT, PT, etc.).
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with timelines.
