Job summary

The Illinois Association of School Administrators is seeking Special Education Teachers for multiple vacancies at Lincoln, Oakton, and Dawes elementary schools. Responsibilities

• Administers developmental testing programs and/or assessments to determine student needs and plan IEPs.
• Advocates for student needs and ensures timely implementation of IEP components.
• Collaborates with parents, administrators and related services providers to develop IEPs.
• Maintains records and communicates progress to stakeholders.
• Directs staff and coordinates services to support inclusive education.
• Develops and monitors safety, behavioral and instructional plans for students with disabilities.
• Prepares IEP progress reports, grades, attendance and related documentation.
