Job summary

FullBloom is hiring an IEP Coordinator to support students with special needs across our education settings. You will coordinate IEPs, collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators, and ensure accurate documentation and ISBE compliance.

The role requires a current SPED teaching license, coaching experience, strong communication, and data analysis skills using Excel and Google Drive. You will help recruit and onboard staff and contribute to professional development and program quality.

Qualifications

• Current SPED Teaching license.
• Experience in a school setting with similar population.
• Experience coaching staff.
• Strong professional communication, both oral and written.
• Ability to record and analyze data using Excel and Google Drive.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, manage, assess needs and determine student assignments in special education programs.
• Assist Principal with recruiting, interviewing and onboarding new campus staff.
• Develop and implement transition planning and services/Indicator 13.
• Maintain IEP database and student file scan database.
• Prepare and attend students' IEP meetings and ensure documentation is accurately completed prior to the meeting and provide on-going monitoring to ensure ISBE compliance of students' IEPs.
• Plan and deliver staff and parent education on special education programs.
• Maintain relationships with school district, parents and community.
• Provide and monitor crisis intervention at the school.
• Organize, plan and deliver training for professional development and staff meetings.
• Actively participate in Education Committee meetings and relay information to the resource team.
