Specialized Education Services, Inc. seeks an IEP Coordinator to support students with academic, social, and behavioral needs.

You will collaborate with the director, staff, families, and school teams to implement instructional plans and monitor progress for ISBE compliance. The role requires a current SPED teaching license, strong communication, and data-analysis skills in Excel and Google Drive, with experience coaching staff in a school setting.

Competenze

• Current SPED teaching license.
• Experience in a school setting preferred.
• Experience coaching staff.
• Strong communication, both oral and written.
• Ability to record and analyze data using Excel and Google Drive.

Mansioni

• Coordinate, manage, assess needs and determine student assignment for IEP programs.
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding campus staff.
• Develop and implement transition plans and Indicator 13 services.
• Maintain IEP and student file databases and ensure ISBE compliance.
• Prepare and attend IEP meetings, with accurate documentation.
• Plan staff and parent education related to special education programs.
• Maintain relationships with school districts, parents, and the community.
• Provide and monitor crisis intervention at the school.
• Organize and deliver professional development and staff meetings.
• Participate in Education Committee meetings and relay information.
