Job summary

FullBloom seeks an experienced Academic/IEP Coordinator to design and implement standards-aligned instructional programs, manage IEPs, and coach teachers toward higher student achievement. You will collaborate with administrators, teachers, and families to ensure effective instructional practices and alignment with ISBE expectations.

You will design professional development, monitor program outcomes with data analysis, and support curriculum improvement across classrooms.

Qualifications

• Current SPED Teaching license.
• Experience coaching staff in a school setting preferred.
• Strong professional communication skills both oral and written.
• Ability to record and analyze data using Excel and Google Drive.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and revise curriculum materials to align with state standards and educational best practices.
• Collaborate with teachers and subject matter experts to integrate new instructional strategies and resources.
• Provide one-on-one and group coaching to teachers to enhance instructional practices.
• Model effective teaching strategies and use of instructional technology in classrooms.
• Observe classroom instruction and provide constructive feedback to educators.
• Coordinate, manage, assess needs and determine student assignment in regards to special education programs.
• Develop and implement transition planning and services/Indicator 13.
• Maintain IEP database and student file scan database.
• Plan and implement staff and parent education relating to special education programs.
