Job summary

FullBloom is seeking an IEP Specialist to coordinate and evaluate our educational program in an Ohio campus. You will mentor classroom staff, collaborate with the Director and resource team, and support onboarding of new staff while ensuring IEPs and services meet ISBE requirements.

You will work closely with principals, teachers, families, and district partners to implement transition planning, monitor data, and drive positive outcomes for students needing targeted support.

Qualifications

• Current SPED teaching license required.
• Experience in a school setting preferred.
• Experience coaching staff and working with families.
• Strong written and oral communication; data-informed planning.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, manage, assess needs and determine student assignment for special education programs.
• Assist Principal with recruiting, interviewing and onboarding new campus staff.
• Develop and implement transition planning and services (Indicator 13).
• Maintain IEP database and student file scans; ensure documentation accuracy.
• Prepare and attend IEP meetings; monitor ISBE compliance.
• Plan staff and parent education related to special education programs.
• Maintain relationships with school district, parents, and community; provide crisis intervention as needed.
• Organize, plan and deliver training for professional development and staff meetings.
• Participate in Education Committee meetings and relay information to the resource team.
