Job summary

gategroup is seeking a Supervisor Operations for the Internal Delivery System (IDS) to ensure accurate material delivery across warehouse, storeroom and production areas. You will lead the IDS team, staff, train, and schedule to meet the unit’s internal customers while driving continuous improvements and lean practices.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, supervisory experience in high-volume settings, and the ability to manage a team of 30+ hourly employees with a focus on efficiency,

Qualifications

• Strong and effective leadership skills with ability to manage a 30+ employee team.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing or food production environments preferred.
• Ability to train and coach staff, drive continuous improvement, and manage schedules.

Responsibilities

• Gathers data to ensure inventory locations are accurate and up to date.
• Leads IDS team staffing, training, and scheduling to meet internal customer needs.
• Monitors delivery routes and storage for continuous improvement and adherence to production requirements.
• Oversees manpower planning and daily schedules to optimize productivity and reduce labor costs.
• Ensures compliance with Wage & Hour policies and union agreements.
