Job summary

gategroup Newark, NJ seeks a Manager, Internal Delivery System (IDS) to plan and coordinate the flow of materials from the warehouse to production areas, ensuring on-time delivery, correct quantities, and cost efficiency.

You will lead daily IDS operations, review MPS inputs with planning managers, coordinate requisitions, monitor FIFO, and drive process improvements to meet KPIs while complying with health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, supply chain, or engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in operations or manufacturing.
• Experience in a food production or food service environment.
• Experience leading, training and influencing teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate the flow of materials from warehouse to production areas.
• Coordinate requisitions and monitor performance to meet KPIs.
• Collaborate with warehouse and production to ensure timely replenishment and FIFO compliance.
• Maintain delivery schedules and ensure accurate material handling per ERP and MPS.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiencies and cost control.
