Job summary

IDI is seeking a Warehouse Associate to perform a broad range of warehouse tasks including receiving, put-away, picking, and order fulfillment. The role supports inventory accuracy, assists walk-in customers, and helps maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment.

Qualifications include forklift experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to meet physical requirements. The position emphasizes teamwork, accountability, and proactive problem-solving in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Operate material handling equipment including a forklift, pallet jack, and shrink wrapper.
• Identify product numbers and alpha/numeric codes.
• Must meet physical requirements of the job.
• Use/learn computer order entry and inventory systems.
• Achieve set goals in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Pull materials to fill orders via a pick ticket in an organized fashion.
• Check pulled goods quantity and type against sales orders to confirm accuracy.
• Load customer or company vehicles with ordered goods in a secure fashion.
• Place orders via computer sales order process as instructed by the DC Manager.
• Receiving and Inventory Management: unload and receive stock replenishment materials into the warehouse, put away goods, note damages, perform cycle counts, work with inventory management to resolve discrepancies.
• Safety and Compliance: follow safety rules, inspect facilities and equipment, report incidents, ensure clear aisles and loading docks, report unsafe storage issues.
• Warehouse Organization: assist the DC Manager in organizing warehouse layout and storage bins.
• Other Duties: perform any other duties as beneficial to IDI.
• Leads Self: communicate effectively, drive for results, demonstrate accountability, take initiative, collaborate.
