Job summary

Baselayer, based in New York City, is redefining the identity layer for institutions in the United States. We are seeking a technical bridge-builder who excels at translating complex engineering concepts for customers and helping them implement Baselayer APIs to realize real business value.

You will work with sales, product, and engineering to demonstrate capabilities, draft implementation guides, and ensure successful deployments. This in-office role offers competitive compensation and equity.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a technical, PM, or customer-facing role.
• Fundamental knowledge of APIs and web technologies.
• Strong documentation and requirement-specification skills.
• Natural problem-solver with ability to address complex challenges.
• Able to navigate ambiguity with confidence.
• Collaborative mindset across sales, product, and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical consultation to understand customer requirements and design implementation strategies.
• Guide customers through API integrations and ensure successful deployment of Baselayer products.
• Create technical documentation and implementation plans for customer needs.
• Deliver technical demonstrations showcasing Baselayer capabilities.
• Collaborate with sales, product, and engineering teams on solutions.
• Develop implementation guides and solution architectures for various scenarios.
• Educate customers on Baselayer products and APIs.
• Collect and relay customer feedback to product and engineering teams.
• Stay current with identity verification trends and fintech compliance.
