Job summary

Ernst & Young seeks an Identity Verification Engineer to design and support identity verification and passwordless solutions using 1Kosmos or Microsoft Verified ID. You will implement biometric verification, document checks, liveness detection and IAL2-proofing aligned with NIST standards.

You will integrate with Entra ID/Azure AD, IdRamp, CLEAR, and other IAM tools, manage enrollment and policy configurations, and help scale secure identity across on‑prem and cloud apps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3–5+ years IAM experience.
• 2+ years with 1Kosmos or Microsoft Verified ID.
• Experience with identity proofing, passwordless authentication, and biometrics.
• Experience with enterprise identity lifecycle management and onboarding processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement identity proofing workflows using 1Kosmos or Microsoft Verified ID.
• Configure document verification, biometric authentication, liveness detection, and identity assurance controls.
• Implement IAL2-grade identity proofing per NIST 800-63.
• Integrate and administer platform services across IAM ecosystems.
• Develop and support API-based integrations and SAML/OIDC/SCIM workflows.
