Job summary

EY is seeking an Identity Verification Engineer to design and implement identity proofing workflows using 1Kosmos or Microsoft Verified ID platforms. You will configure and support document verification, biometrics, liveness detection, and identity assurance controls, aligned with NIST guidelines.

The role covers integration with Entra ID/Azure AD, IdRamp, CLEAR, and other IAM tools, plus passwordless strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3-5+ years of Identity and Access Management (IAM) experience.
• 2+ years hands-on 1Kosmos or Microsoft Verified ID implementation experience.
• Experience with identity proofing, passwordless authentication, and biometric verification solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement identity proofing workflows with 1Kosmos or Microsoft Verified ID platforms.
• Configure and support document verification, biometric authentication, facial recognition, liveness detection, and identity assurance controls.
• Integrate 1Kosmos with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD and other IAM platforms.
• Implement passwordless authentication strategies (Biometrics, FIDO2/WebAuthn, mobile authenticators).
• Provide security governance, compliance support, and runbooks for IAM deployments.
• Collaborate with IAM architects, cybersecurity teams, and business stakeholders.
