Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer for the Identity Platform. This hands-on role requires deep systems understanding, building and shipping production software, and the ability to prototype against new standards. You will work across identity, auth, and cloud tooling with real client impact.

Expect to own components end to end, translate complex tech concepts to clients, and thrive in a fast-paced, security-focused environment. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience building and shipping production software.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional development in at least one of Python, Go, Rust, TypeScript, Java, or C++.
• Minimum of 2 years building concurrent or distributed systems that ran in production.
• Minimum of 2 years deploying and operating cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP, including containers and CI/CD pipelines.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) OR (minimum 12 years) work experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship services in the Identity Platform stack including authorization engines, registries, credential brokers, and authentication layers.
• Own a component end to end: design, implementation, deployment, and failure handling.
• Reverse engineer how identity works in a client environment and design improvements.
• Prototype against emerging standards and vendor betas, often before documentation exists.
• Build internal tooling and reference implementations used across the practice.
• Explain design to clients' engineers and defend the proposed solutions.
