Job summary

Accenture is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer for the Identity Platform. This hands-on role requires digging into identity systems, implementing services, and delivering end-to-end solutions for client environments.

You will prototype against emerging standards, build tooling, and clearly explain complex designs to client engineers. Expect travel and a strong focus on production-grade software within security contexts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience building and shipping production software.
• Hands-on technical work within the last 18 months with production development or prototyping.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional development in at least one of Python, Go, Rust, TypeScript, Java, or C++.
• Minimum of 2 years building concurrent or distributed systems in production.
• Minimum of 2 years deploying and operating cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) with containers and CI/CD.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent (or 12 years of work experience).

Responsibilities

• Build and ship services in the agentic identity stack: authorization engines, agent registries, credential brokers, and authentication layers for MCP servers.
• Own a component end to end: design, implementation, deployment, and failover at 3am.
• Reverse-engineer identity work-flows inside client environments and design improvements.
• Prototype against emerging standards and vendor betas, often before documentation exists.
• Create internal tooling and reference implementations reused by the practice.
• Explain your design to a client's engineers and defend key choices.
