Job summary

Accenture Security seeks an experienced Forward Deployed Engineer for the Identity Platform. You will build and ship services across the agentic identity stack, own components end to end, and understand client environments deeply to drive robust authentication and authorization solutions.

We value hands-on engineers with production experience, cloud deployment expertise on AWS/Azure/GCP, and a drive to prototype against evolving standards. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience building and shipping production software.
• Hands-on technical work within the last 18 months.
• 2+ years of professional development in at least one of Python, Go, Rust, TypeScript, Java, or C++.
• 2+ years building concurrent or distributed systems that ran in production.
• 2+ years deploying and operating cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP, including containers and CI/CD pipelines.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) OR 12+ years work experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship services in the identity stack: authorization engines, registries, credential brokers, and authentication layers.
• Own a component end to end: design, implementation, deployment, and on-call handling.
• Reverse‑engineer how identity works in client environments and design improvements.
• Prototype against emerging standards and vendor betas; contribute reference implementations.
