Accenture is hiring for a Forward Deployed Engineer in Identity Platform. The role is hands‑on and requires deep understanding of identity systems, security integrations, and strong software execution across the stack.

You will build and ship production services, own components end-to-end, and prototype against evolving standards while collaborating with clients and internal teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience building and shipping production software.
• Hands-on work in the last 18 months, including prototyping or code review.
• 2+ years in Python, Go, Rust, TypeScript, Java, or C++.
• 2+ years deploying and operating cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) with containers and CI/CD.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or equivalent, or 12+ years of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship services in the agentic identity stack including authorization engines and authentication layers.
• Own a component end-to-end: design, implementation, deployment, and on-call handling.
• Reverse‑engineer how identity works in client environments and design improvements.
• Prototype against emerging standards and vendor betas before documentation exists.
• Create internal tooling and reference implementations for reuse.
• Explain designs to client engineers and defend against feedback.
