Job summary

Accenture Security is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to join the Agentic Identity Platform. You will write production code, understand client environments, and build end-to-end identity solutions with depth across authorization, authentication, and credentialing.

The role requires hands-on software development and cloud deployment experience across AWS, Azure, or GCP, with the ability to explain complex concepts to client engineers. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building and shipping production software.
• Hands-on work within the last 18 months.
• 2+ years of professional development in Python, Go, Rust, TypeScript, Java, or C++.
• 2+ years building concurrent or distributed systems in production.
• 2+ years deploying and operating cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP, with containers and CI/CD.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship services in the agentic identity stack: authorization engines, registries, credential brokers, and authentication layers.
• Own a component end to end: design, implementation, deployment, and on-call handling.
• Reverse‑engineer identity in client environments and design improved solutions.
• Prototype against emerging standards and vendor betas, often before docs exist.
• Build internal tooling and reference implementations used by the practice.
• Explain designs to client engineers and defend critical choices.
