Job summary

Accenture Security seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer for the Identity Platform. This hands-on role requires deep coding, system understanding, and the ability to build in production environments. You’ll design, implement, and deploy components like authorization engines and credential brokers, often before documentation exists.

Travel may be required; 3+ years building production software, and 2+ years in cloud and distributed systems with AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes are expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building and shipping production software.
• Hands-on technical work in the last 18 months.
• 2+ years of development in Python, Go, Rust, TypeScript, Java, or C++.
• 2+ years building concurrent or distributed systems in production.
• 2+ years deploying and operating cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) with containers and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship services in the identity stack: authorization engines, registries, credential brokers, and authentication layers.
• Own a component end-to-end: design, implement, deploy, and handle 3am failure scenarios.
• Reverse-engineer identity behavior in client environments and design improvements.
• Prototype against emerging standards and vendor betas.
• Develop internal tooling and reference implementations.
• Explain designs to client engineers and defend against feedback.
