Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an Authentication Platform Software Engineer (MTS) to own backend features in the Production IAM stack, including Kerberos, TOTP, and WebAuthn. You will implement secure, well-tested code, review designs, and contribute to on-call rotations for a tier-0 service.

You bring 3+ years of software engineering in Java, Go, or C#, with cloud experience and a security-first mindset. Knowledge of Kerberos, LDAP, WebAuthn, SAML/OIDC is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong programming ability in Java, Go, or C# with backend experience.
• Experience building distributed services in public cloud or hybrid deployments.
• Knowledge of identity/federation protocols (Kerberos, LDAP, WebAuthn/FIDO2, TOTP, SAML, OIDC) is a plus.
• Security-first mindset with rigorous automated testing and code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Deliver features across Kerberos, TOTP, and WebAuthn/WebAuthn services.
• Write clean, tested backend code and participate in design discussions.
• Handle on-call for tier-0 platform and contribute to incident reviews.
• Develop and extend telemetry, monitoring, and runbooks for production systems.
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to scope work items.
