Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Software Engineer (MTS) for the Authentication Platform. You will implement features across Kerberos, TOTP, and WebAuthn/FIDO2, contributing to designs and taking on-call for a tier-0 service.

You will write backend code in Java, Go, or C#, participate in design reviews, and ensure security-first, high-quality code with strong test coverage and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Strong programming ability in Java, Go, or C#, with production experience building backend services.
• Working knowledge of at least one identity or federation protocol (Kerberos, LDAP, WebAuthn/FIDO2, TOTP, SAML, OIDC).
• Experience with distributed services in Public Cloud (AWS/GCP) or hybrid deployments using Kubernetes and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Deliver features across Kerberos, TOTP, and WebAuthn/FIDO2 service portfolio.
• Write clean, well-tested backend code in Java, Go, or C#.
• Contribute to design specs and research spikes for features with senior engineers.
• Handle on-call for a tier-0 platform and fix production issues.
• Follow security-first mindset and Salesforce engineering best practices.
