Job summary

SPHERE co is seeking a Technical Delivery Manager to lead implementations and upgrades of SPHEREboard, guiding a delivery pod of technical engineers, Support, and engineering staff. You will be the client's primary contact from kickoff to go-live, driving faster, more reliable deployments.

In this hands-on leadership role, you will work directly in client environments, scale the delivery model, and ensure smooth transitions to ongoing support.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in identity security or infrastructure, with 5+ years delivering identity programs (PAM, IGA, or AD).
• Experience in a services or customer delivery role at an enterprise software company.
• Proven player-coach who leads engineers/PMs while remaining hands-on.
• Fluent across the identity stack: AD, LDAP, Entra; Windows & UNIX/Linux; databases; AWS/Azure; Privileged access.
• Understand privileged access, permissions, and ownership across systems.
• Able to translate technical issues into business risk for executives and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead a delivery pod of engineers, Support, and engineering resources; set goals and review progress.
• Plan, forecast, and balance capacity across engagements to protect client commitments.
• Scale delivery with playbooks, scripts, and configurations for predictable timelines.
• Define completion criteria and transition to ongoing support with documentation and sign-off.
• Track delivery metrics like time-to-prod and upgrade cycle time.
• Share insights with Engineering and Product to improve SPHEREboard and delivery.
• Manage subcontracted resources, budgets, and change control.
