Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Software Engineer III to join the Commercial & Investment Bank Identity Engineering team. You will design, build, and modernize authentication and authorization platforms serving global clients and institutions.

Collaborate with a worldwide network of technologists; drive secure, scalable solutions across channels, leveraging AI-assisted development tools while maintaining rigorous review and security standards.

Qualifications

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of proficient applied experience.
Proficiency in Java and other general-purpose programming languages.
Experience with software architecture, design patterns, and integration concepts.

Responsibilities

Design and develop secure authentication and authorization solutions across channels and platforms.
Modernize identity and access management systems aligned to open standards.
Evaluate and prototype internal and vendor solutions for user authentication including anti-fraud and biometrics.
Integrate APIs and SDKs for OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and SAML with enterprise apps.
Collaborate with global teams to deliver high-quality, business-valued outcomes.
Advocate for strong engineering practices, testing, and secure coding standards.
