Job summary

Acentra Health seeks a Provider Educator to join our West Virginia team. You will develop, deliver, and monitor training and technical assistance to waiver providers, promoting compliance with Medicaid regulations, the WV IDDW Policy Manual, and best practices in service delivery.

You will oversee provider reviews and quality assurance activities, focusing on educational coordination and continuous improvement, reporting to the IDDW Provider Educator Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Human Services Field is required.
• Must reside in the State of West Virginia.
• 3+ years experience with the WV IDDW Program.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver training programs for waiver providers.
• Educate providers on WV IDDW policies, procedures, and service definitions.
• Facilitate in-person and virtual trainings and workshops.
• Create user-friendly training materials, guides, and job aids.
• Provide ongoing technical assistance and interpret regulatory language into practical guidance.
• Conduct provider reviews (onsite or remote) and complete associated reports.
• Support quality assurance and compliance initiatives and track trends.
